Abstract | The invention relates to a method for testing the contents of residual monomers in an acrylate pressure sensitive adhesive by virtue of gas chromatography, in particular relating to a method for testing the contents of residual monomers in an acrylate pressure sensitive adhesive by virtue of gas chromatography. An FID (flame ionization detector) hydrogen flame detector is adopted; ultrapure nitrogen is used as a carrier gas; and ultrapure hydrogen and drying air are used as auxiliary gases. The chromatographic column is TM-FFAP 30m*0.32m*0.5 micron; the carrier gas flow is 10mL/min; the temperature of a vaporizing chamber is 180 DEG C.; the temperature of the detector is 275 DEG C.; and the column temperature uses a program warming way.
