Abstract | A compound, oligomer, or polymer having a functional group of formula (I) wherein R is a group having 1 to 12 carbons and optionally including one or more heteroatoms selected from oxygen, nitrogen, and sulfur is useful in curable compositions having active hydrogen functional groups reactive with group (I). The functional groups of formula (I) and active hydrogen functional groups may be part of the same material or different materials. In some embodiments a filler is surface modified to have a functional group of formula (I). Also disclosed is a method of making a material having a functional group of formula (I). |
