Abstract | The invention discloses a method and a device for starting up/closing down a power-uninterrupted magnesium electrolysis bath with non-stopping power. The method comprises that: a short circuit switch is arranged between the cathode and the anode of the magnesium electrolysis bath; and the short circuit switch is connected in parallel with a short circuit bus which is arranged between the cathode and the anode; and the short circuit switch and the short circuit bus are closed or opened alternatively for realizing closing/opening the power-uninterrupted electrolysis bath. The device is that: two ends of the short circuit bus are connected with a cathode bus and a anode bus respectively; the short circuit switch is arranged between the cathode bus and the anode bus; the short circuit switch and the short circuit bus are in parallel connection; a transmission mechanism and a contact are arranged in a switch body of the short circuit switch; the transmission mechanism is controlled by a control cabinet through a c |
