Tester for testing ignition capability and voltage resistant capability of sparking plug and testing method and uses, at least including one sparking plug test chamber, which is filled with pressure gas and is closed in testing the sparking plug, the closed chamber is filled with pressure gas, flank of the test chamber is mounted with sparking plug test station for placing being tested sparking plug, the being tested sparking plug is placed on the sparking plug test station; simultaneity the tester also includes three needles electrical discharger chamber for matching sparking plug test; and the three needles electrical discharger and the sparking plug are provided with identical voltage detecting pulse high-voltage power supply by the sparking coil of the same ignition system at the sametime. The tester for testing ignition capability and insulator arching capability of the sparking plug, possessing advantages of simple and intuition, and the testing device is mot complicated, whichcan be widely used in each
