Abstract | The invention relates to a multi-ferrocenyl conjugate pyridine onium salt and a preparation method and an application thereof. Iodized N,2,6-trimethyl pyridinium salt or iodized N,2,4,6-tetramethyl pyridinium salt reacts with silver oxide in water to generate corresponding quaternary ammonium hydroxide then respectively reacts with hydrochloric acid and hydrobromic acid or nitric acid to generate chloride or bromide N,2,6-trimethyl pyridinium salt and chloride or bromide N,2,4,6-tetramethyl pyridinium salt or N,2,4,6-tetramethyl pyridine nitrate; and then the obtained N,2,6-trimethyl pyridinium salt and N,2,4,6-tetramethyl pyridinium salt or N,2,4,6-tetramethyl pyridine nitrate condense with the ferrocene formaldehyde to obtain the corresponding target compound.
