Abstract | The invention provides a ceramic water permeable brick and a method for manufacturing the same. The ceramic water permeable brick comprises the following components in weight percentage: 75 to 85 percent of waste ceramic powder, 2 to 5 percent of waste glass powder, 10 to 20 percent of low-temperature clay, 2 to 5 percent of limestone, 2 to 5 percent of dextrin, 0 to 6 percent of albite and 2 to 5 percent of water. The preparation process comprises the following steps: (1) the waste ceramics, the waste glass, the low-temperature clay and the limestone are crushed and sieved; (2) material mixing; (3) the dextrin is added to water and heated; (4) waste ceramic grains are mixed with dextrin water; (5) other powder materials are added and stirred; (6) the mixing pulp is added into a die and subjected to press forming by a pressing machine; (7) drying; (8) the mixing pulp after drying is burned at a temperature of between 1,100 and 1,200 DEG C for 5 to 6 hours; and (9) checking.
