Abstract | Disclosed is a polarizing plate protection film having excellent stability against polarizer deterioration, polarizing plate dimensions, polarizing plate curling. Specifically disclosed is a cellulose ester film containing a cellulose ester, a polymer X having a weight average molecular weight of not less than 2,000 and not more than 30,000 which is obtained by copolymerizing an ethylenically unsaturated monomer Xa having no aromatic ring and no hydrophilic group in a molecule and another ethylenically unsaturated monomer Xb having no aromatic ring but a hydrophilic group in a molecule, and apolymer Y having a weight average molecular weight of not less than 500 and not more than 3,000 which is obtained by polymerizing an ethylenically unsaturated monomer Ya having no aromatic ring. |
