Abstract | A weak-light specimen imaging unit comprising, for the purpose of capable of imaging a specimen emitting a weak light after a short exposure time by a cooing CCD on the order of 0 DEG C, an imaging optical system for imaging the image of a specimen having a spot light source emitting a weak light, and an imaging means having a plurality of pixels receiving an incident light and picking up an image corresponding to the specimen, wherein the imaging optical system is telecentric on the specimen image side of the imaging optical system and condenses a weak light from the spot light source to form an area disk almost equal in size to the pixel or smaller than the pixel. |
