The invention relates to a hinge assembly (1) for a switchgear cabinet housing (100), having a first hinge half (2) which is fastened to a vertical side wall (101), delimiting a door opening (4), of a switchgear cabinet housing (100), and having a second hinge half (3) which is fastened to a door element (5), the hinge halves (2, 3) being connected to each other such that they can pivot relative to each other via a rotation axis (x), so that the door element (5) closes the door opening (4) when in a closed position and preferably completely exposes the door opening when in an open position, and the rotation axis (x) being outside an outer periphery (U) of both the door opening (4) and the door element (5), characterised in that at least one of the hinge halves (2, 3) has a groove (6) via which the hinge half (2, 3) is fitted onto a protrusion (7) on the outer periphery (U) of the part of the switchgear cabinet housing (100) and of the door element (5) associated with the hinge half (2, 3). L'invention concerne un ensemble charnière (1) pour un boîtier d'armoire de distribution (100), comprenant une première moitié (2) de charnière, laquelle est fixée à une paroi latérale (101) verticale d'un boîtier de l'armoire de distribution (100) délimitant une ouverture de porte (4) et une deuxième moitié (3) de charnière, laquelle est fixée à un élément de porte (5), les moitiés (2, 3) de charnière étant raccordées l'une à l'autre de manière pivotante l'une par rapport à l'autre par l'intermédiaire d'un axe de rotation (x) de telle sorte que l'élément de porte, dans une position de fermeture (5), ferme l'ouverture de porte (4) et, dans une position d'ouverture, libère de préférence complètement ladite ouverture de porte et l'axe de rotation (x) étant disposé à l'extérieur d'une périphérie extérieure (U) à la fois de l'ouverture de porte (4) et de l'élément de porte (5), ledit ensemble étant caractérisé en ce qu'au moins une des moitiés (2, 3) de charnière comporte une rainure (6) à l'aide de laquelle la moitié de charnière (2, 3) est emboîtée sur une saillie (7) sur la circonférence extérieure (U) de la partie, associée à la moitié (2, 3) de charnière, du boîtier d'armoire de distribution (100) et de l'élément de porte (5).
