A portable ice rink includes a wall formed of multiple wall members linearly disposed adjacent to one another to form a piecewise continuous wall that encloses a desired area, and also includes a chain of links disposed on the outside of the wall members for reinforcement. The rink may further include a waterproof tarp extending underneath the wall members and folded upwards along the outer side of the wall, with its edge tied to the change of links. The tarp can contain water which then freezes to form a skating surface. Curved wall members are provided to form a rink with round corners. Each wall member is a discrete unit, made of molded plastic, and having a hollow interior which can be filled with water (or other ballast). Each wall member is designed with stiffening features to maintain the flatness of its inner surface after filling. Patinoire portative comprenant une paroi formée de plusieurs éléments de paroi disposés linéairement de manière adjacente les uns par rapport aux autres afin de former une paroi continue par pièce qui renferme une zone souhaitée, et comprend également une chaîne de maillons disposés sur l'extérieur des éléments de paroi pour renforcement. La patinoire peut en outre comprendre une bâche imperméable s'étendant sous les éléments de paroi et repliée vers le haut le long du côté extérieur de la paroi, son bord étant attaché au changement de maillons. La bâche peut contenir l'eau qui gèle ensuite pour former une surface de patinage. Des éléments de paroi incurvés sont prévus pour former une patinoire aux coins arrondis. Chaque élément de paroi est une unité distincte, composée d'une matière plastique moulée, et ayant un intérieur creux qui peut être rempli d'eau (ou autre ballast). Chaque élément de paroi est équipé d'éléments de raidissement pour maintenir la planéité de sa surface intérieure après remplissage.
