Abstract A ball joint device (10) for suspension of a turbine machine to a pylon or suspension of a device on the body of a turbine engine. The device comprises a first member (12) one end of which carries a ball (14) and which is inserted between two lugs (16, 17) of a second member (18), the ball having a bore (28) for passage of a pin (30) the ends of which pass through the openings (20, 22) of the lugs. A first lug (16) comprises or carries first means for axial retention of the pin on the side opposite the ball, which has a cover (52, 52'), and a second lug (17) comprises or carries second means (38) for axial retention of the pin on the side opposite the ball. The device further comprises an elastic member (62, 62') which is deformable under compression and which is held by the cover, said elastic member (62, 62') being configured so as to axially bias, in a direction opposite to the cover, a bearing element (40) passed through by the pin and axially bearing on the ball (14).
