Abstract | The invention relates to a surgical handpiece (200) comprising a housing (207) intended to receive an insert (210), a piezoelectric ultrasonic transducer (219) comprising a piezoelectric motor (220) arranged between a counter-mass (224) and an amplifier part (226), the piezoelectric transducer (219) being able to transmit ultrasound waves from a distal end (226b) of the amplifier part (226) present in the housing (207), and rotation driving means present in the housing (207), the rotation driving means being movable independently of the piezoelectric ultrasonic transducer (219), the latter being static in relation to the handpiece (200). |
