Abstract | An antiballistic article (100A) comprising a ceramic plate/tile (104) bonded to a thermal expansion material (102) with an adhesive (106), characterized, in that: the thermal expansion material has a thermal expansion coefficient higher than the ceramic plate/tile, and the thermal expansion material is bonded to the ceramic plate/tile at elevated temperature of between 50°C and 650°C with adhesive and subsequently cooled, whereby upon cooling, the bonded thermal expansion material contracts to a greater extent than the ceramic plate/tile, exerting compression stress on the ceramic plate/tile.
L'invention concerne un article antiballistique (100A), qui comprend une plaque/élément céramique (104) collé(e) à une matière d'expansion thermique (102) au moyen d'un adhésif (106), et est caractérisé en ce que: la matière d'expansion thermique présente un coefficient d'expansion thermique supérieur à celui de la plaque/élément céramique, et la matière d'expansion thermique est collée à la plaque/élément céramique à une température élevée, comprise entre 50°C et 650°C au moyen d'un adhésif, et est refroidie ultérieurement; lors du refroidissement, la matière d'expansion thermique collée se contracte davantage que la plaque/élément céramique, exerçant ainsi une contrainte de compression sur la plaque/élément céramique. |
