Advantageously, two of these boluses are administered concomitantly, one being effervescent and rapid release and the other being slow release. L'invention a pour objet un produit vétérinaire ou un produit de nutrition destiné en particulier à la prévention et au traitement des hypocalcémies chez les animaux ruminants. Le produit peut être sous la forme d'un bolus comprenant du carbonate de calcium et du formiate de calcium. De façon avantageuse, on administre de façon concomitante deux de ces bolus, l'un étant effervescent à libération rapide et l'autre étant à libération lente.
