Abstract | A biotechnological process for enhancing oil recovery of 14 to 25 °API oil contained in carbonate or sandstone rock systems with low permeability (7 to 100 mD) utilizes indigenous extremophile microorganisms from the oil well and its metabolites (gases, acids, solvents and surfactants), to improve oil mobility. Under anaerobic conditions, such microorganisms are able to grow in temperatures from 60 to 95°C, at pressures from 7 to 154.6 kg/cm2 and NaCI content from 5,000 to 45,000 ppm. Injection of indigenous microorganisms and a second culture containing selected microorganisms for metabolites production into the well improves oil recovery after closed the system periods from 5 to 10 days. The biotechnical process includes biostimulation (indigenous microorganisms) and bioaugmentation (second culture) to increase metabolite production.
Un procédé biotechnologique permettant daméliorer lextraction de pétrole de 14 à 25 degrés API contenu dans des systèmes de roche carbonatée ou de grès présentant une faible perméabilité (7 à 100 mD) utilise des micro-organismes extrêmophiles indigènes provenant du puits de pétrole et de ses métabolites (gaz, acides, solvants et surfactants) pour améliorer la mobilité du pétrole. Dans des conditions anaérobies, de tels micro-organismes sont en mesure de croître dans des températures de 60 à 95 °C à des pressions variant de 7 à 154,6 kg/cm2 et dans une teneur en chlorure de sodium de 5 000 à 45 000 ppm. Linjection de micro-organismes indigènes et dune deuxième culture contenant des micro-organismes sélectionnés pour la production de métabolites dans le puits améliore lextraction de pétrole après la fermeture du système durant des périodes de 5 à 10 jours. Le procédé biotechnologique comprend la biostimulation (micro-organismes indigènes) et la bioaugmentation (deuxième culture) pour augmenter la production de métabolite. |
