Abstract The invention relates to a method of producing an oligonucleotide library comprising a plurality of oligonucleotides, each oligonucleotide in the library having at least one predetermined position, a randomisation codon selected from a defined group of codons, the codons within said defined group coding for different amino acids. Vector, host cells containing such libraries and kits for the production of such libraries are also provided. L'invention se rapporte à un procédé de production d'une bibliothèque d'oligonucléotides comprenant une pluralité d'oligonucléotides présentant chacun au moins une position prédéterminée, un codon de randomisation sélectionné parmi un groupe défini de codons, les codons présents dans ledit groupe défini codant pour différents acides aminés. L'invention se rapporte également à un vecteur, à des cellules hôtes contenant de telles bibliothèques et à des trousses pour la production de ces bibliothèques.
