Abstract The claimed subject-matter relates to a method of forming RFID articles, the method comprising: separating an RFID microelectronic stock into a plurality of sections, wherein the RFID microelectronic stock includes a plurality of RFID chips, wherein each of the sections includes one or more of the RFID chips; engaging the separated sections by a transport member; transporting the sections on the transport member to an antenna web, wherein the antenna web includes a plurality of spaced antennas disposed thereon; and attaching the sections to the antenna web such that RFID chips of the sections are associated with corresponding antennas; wherein each section is transported at a matched pitched with a respective antenna that is moving; and wherein the RFID webstock is separated into sections by passing the RFID webstock through a cutting location between a cutter member and the transport member.
