Abstract Disclosed are compounds and pharmaceutically acceptable salts of formula (I), which feature either a N-(1H-pyrazol-3-yl)pyridin-2-amine or a N-(1H-pyrazol-3-yl)pyrimidin-4-amine core structure. These compounds may be used in the treatment of diseases such as cancer or diseases associated with TRIM37. The compounds disclosed herein may be inhibitors of polo-like kinase 4 (PLK4). Also disclosed are pharmaceutical compositions containing the compounds or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, methods of their preparation, and use.
