Summary: | The present invention relates to an acrylic multilayer foil comprising at least one layer in which silica particles are uniformly distributed in an acrylic polymer matrix and at least one further layer. Due to adhesive promoting properties of the layer comprising silica particles, the multilayer foil can be easily coated or laminated onto a substrate. The foil has a high weathering resistance and excellent mechanical properties. Therefore, the multilayer foil of the present invention is highly suitable for surface-protection of materials such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and for use in high-pressure laminates (HPLs). |
