Abstract In a blower gate (20), a plurality of discharge openings (22) are formed while being spaced apart from one another in the vertical direction. The plurality of discharge openings (22) can be opened and closed by means of a plurality of flaps (23). In accordance with the height of a subject (T) attempting to pass through the blower gate (20), the discharge opening (22) at the position at which air would be blown toward the face of the subject (T) is closed by means of (a) flap(s) (23), thereby blowing air toward the neck of the subject (T) and therebelow.
