Summary: | This rotor comprises: a rotor core that has a number of magnet insertion holes correlating to the number of poles in the circumference direction with the axis line as the center, and has a center hole at the center part in the radial direction with the axis line as the center; and a shaft that is inserted in the center hole. The rotor core has a plurality of first slits and a plurality of ribs alternating in the circumference direction along the periphery of the center hole, and has a plurality of second slits further to the outside in the radial direction than the plurality of first slits. The number of the plurality of first slits is ½ or an integral multiple of the number of poles, and the number of the plurality of second slits is ½ or an integral multiple of the number of poles. The plurality of second slits are all formed to cover the corresponding rib among the plurality of ribs from outside in the radial direction. The plurality of first slits all have a length A1 in the circumference direction and a width A2 in the radial direction, the plurality of second slits all have a length B1 in the circumference direction, and A1 > A2 and A1 > B1 are established. |
