Abstract The invention relates to a compression bandage in the form of a knitted fabric obtained by warp-knitting technology based on synthetic threads, consisting of two textile surfaces having the same or different textile structures, said surfaces being interconnected by spacer threads, each surface comprising elastic threads, characterised in that said knitted fabric has: a length measured according to the norm EN 14704 -1 of between 30 and 160%; and a minimum shear stress threshold of 2800 Pa.
