Summary:One aspect of the present invention pertains to a spectacle lens that has a coating, which exhibits properties in which light of a specific wavelength region is reflected, on both an object-side surface and an eye-side surface of a lens substrate. The coating on one or both surfaces has a reflectance gradient in which the reflectance of the light decreases in a continuous or stepwise manner from an area positioned at the bottom to an area positioned at the top when the lens is worn, or from the area positioned at the top to the area positioned at the bottom when the lens is worn.
