Summary: | The exergy efficiency of the existing air-conditioner and the electric water heater were analyzed from the viewpoint of the utilization of the available energy. The results indicate that the utilized efficiency of the available energy for the electric water heater is far less than that for the heat pump. Moreover, the patent of the annual energy-saving multifunctional modified from the existing air conditioner for air conditioning and hot water is first into the open. The test results indicate that the power consumption of this new set can be less than that of the existing electric water heater by 70%-80%. |
