Abstract | he São Paulo State region known as “Pólo Turístico do Circuito das Frutas” congregates producing ‘Niagara Rosada’ grapevine counties, being responsible for 60% of the state production. For the economical and rational exploitation of that agricultural activity it is necessary to apply the technological advances, mainly on its qualitative and quantitative aspects. Once the previous knowledge of the harvest dates allows the planning of viticultural activities by the producers. Mean monthy maximum and minimum air temperatures were used to acquire the number of days needed for the grapevine to complete growing seasons (pruning to harvest), based on growing degree-days (1549 GDD). Therefore it was possible to elaborate maps for the different probable harvest dates in the “Pólo Turístico do Circuito das Frutas” region considering different pruning dates. The ‘Niagara Rosada’ harvest dates for different pruning dates varied from November 30th to February 25th when comparing the west and east side of the study area.
O Pólo Turístico do Circuito das Frutas do Estado de São Paulo congrega municípios produtores de uva de mesa, principalmente a cultivar ‘Niagara Rosada’, sendo responsável por 60% da produção estadual. Para a exploração econômica e racional desse setor agrícola é necessário o avanço tecnológico, tanto nos aspectos qualitativos quanto nos quantitativos. Uma vez que o conhecimento antecipado das datas de colheita da videira permite o planejamento das atividades agrícolas pelo produtor, foram utilizados valores médios de temperaturas máximas e mínimas do ar na obtenção do número de dias necessários para que a videira completasse o seu ciclo total (poda-colheita), baseado no acúmulo de graus-dia necessário (1549 GD). Estimaram-se as épocas prováveis de colheita na região, para as diferentes épocas de poda, com elaboração de mapas por meio de sistemas de informações geográficas. As datas de colheita da ‘Niagara Rosada’ em função da época de poda variaram de 30 de novembro no oeste até após 25 de fevereiro para os municípios situados a leste do Circuito das Frutas. |
