Summary:Introduction: Psoriasis is a pathology of chronic inflammatory origin, which presents epidermal hyperplasia and inappropriate immune activation, affecting the skin and joints, and impacting quality of life. Objective: To analyze scientific production about the quality of life of patients with psoriasis. Method: This is an integrative literature review. The following databases MEDLINE, BDENF and LILACS were used, with access via VHL. Results: Among the main impacts of psoriasis on QoL, the following stand out: restrictions on daily activities, compromising social and even family well-being; feeling of guilt and shame; suicidal thoughts. Discussion: Patients' perception of their physical appearance is linked to a greater impact on daily activities and social exclusion, which can lead to compromising daily activities and quality of life in general. Conclusion: The role of nurses in the treatment of people with psoriasis is extremely important, to observe treatment adherence, observing which aspects may be harming the treatment of the disease and directing them to the necessary support, thinking about the patient's well-being.
