Summary:The achievements of pentanque sports in their coaching are not much different from other sports, with facilities and infrastructure and supported by licensed coaches and also training programs that support an athlete's achievements. As a supporter of achievement, of course you need to get information about the achievement development system in the Petanque Sport Branch in Melawi Regency. The research design used in this research is a naturalistic interactive qualitative approach. The results of the research are that overall the management of performance development for pentaque sports is good, but there are several obstacles that are problematic, namely related to inadequate funding. The conclusion is that the development of Pentaque sports achievements in Melawi Regency is good.Keywords: Management, performance developmentAbstrak: Prestasi olahraga pentanque dalam pembinaanya tidak berbeda jauh dengan olahraga lainya, dengan sarana dan prasarana serta didukung oleh pelatih yang sudah berlisensi dan juga program latihan yang mendukung prestasi seorang atlet. Sebagai pedukung sebuah prestasi tentunya perlu mengali informasi tentang sistem pembinaan prestasi pada Cabang Olahraga Petanque di Kabupaten Melawi. Melalui Desain Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif interaktif naturalistic. Hasil penelitiaan adalah bahwa manajemen pembinaan prestasi cabang olahraga pentaque secara kesuluruhan sudah baik namun ada beberapa kendala yang menjadi persoalan yaitu terkait dengan pendanan yang kurang memadai. Kesimpulan bahwa pembinaan prestasi cabang olahraga Pentaque di Kabupaten Melawi baik.Kata kunci: Manajemen, pembinaan prestasi
