Hubungan Usia Ibu saat Hamil terhadap Jenis Kelamin Anak pada Keluarga di Wilayah Kua Rajabasa dan Kedaton Bandar Lampung

ABSTRACT Age from being in the womb to the age of 19 years. Gender is defined differently from sex. Gender is determined by permanently attached biological organs whose functions cannot be exchanged. This is indicated by the differences in the anatomy and external genitalia in males and females. Differences in gender roles can lead to gender inequality, known by looking at the role in participating in an activity. The relationship between the age of the mother during pregnancy and the sex of the child in families in the KUA Rajabasa and Kedaton Bandar Lampung in 2023. Analytical observational methods with Retrospective methods and purposive random sampling techniques. In the results of the Chi Square test in the study, it was found that there was a significant   relationship between the age of the mother  at  the time of pregnancy of the first child and the sex of the first  child with a p-value = 0.003 (<0.05). Likewise, it is known that there is no significant relationship between the age of the mother at the time of pregnancy of the second child and the sex of the second child with p-value =0.243 (> 0.05). There was a relationship between the age of the mother at the time of pregnancy of the first child and the sex of the first child but for the second child there was no relationship between the age of the mother at the time of pregnancy of the second child and the sex of the second child in the KUA Rajabasa and Kedaton areas in 2023. Keyword: Sex, Mother's Age During Pregnancy  ABSTRAK Menurut World Health Organization (WHO) Anak adalah usia sejak berada di dalam kandungan hingga usia 19 tahun. Gender didefinisikan secara berbeda dari jenis kelamin. Jenis kelamin ditentukan oleh organ biologis yang melekat secara permanen yang fungsinya tidak bisa dipertukarkan.  Ditunjukkan dengan adanya perbedaan dari anatomi dan genitalia eksterna laki-laki dan perempuan. Perbedaan peran gender dapat menimbulkan ketidaksetaraan gender, diketahui dengan melihat peran dalam berpartisipasi di suatu kegiatan. Hubungan usia ibu saat hamil terhadap jenis kelamin anak pada keluarga di wilayah KUA Rajabasa dan Kedaton Bandar Lampung tahun 2023. Metode observasional analitik dengan metode Retrospektif dan teknik pengambilan purposive random   sampling. Pada hasil uji Chi Square pada penelitian diketahui ada hubungan yang signifikan antara usia ibu saat hamil anak pertama terhadap jenis  kelamin anak pertama  dengan  p-value = 0.003 (<0.05). Demikian juga diketahui tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara usia ibu saat  hamil anak kedua terhadap jenis kelamin anak kedua dengan p-value = 0.243 (>0.05). Didapatkan hubungan antara usia ibu saat hamil anak pertama terhadap jenis kelamin anak pertama akan tetapi pada anak kedua tidak terdapat hubungan antara usia ibu saat hamil anak kedua terhadap jenis kelamin anak kedua di wilayah KUA Rajabasa dan Kedaton tahun 2023.kata kunci: jenis kelamin, usia ibu saat hamil
