A subclinical hypothyroidism was diagnosed at this category of patients. Subclinical hypothyroidism progressed under antituberculosis chemotherapy. Prescribing of selenium nitric restored thyroid function with the increasing of blood level of free thyroxine and decreasing of thyroid stimulating hormone and also optimized the results of chemotherapy with increasing the percentage of tuberculosis patients stopped bacilli excretion and healing of the cavities in lungs. Thus sodium selenite was recommended like accompanying medicine if antituberculosis chemotherapy.
