| Abstract | Scapulohumeral periarthritis, also known as frozen shoulder, is a common clinical disease characterized by shoulder pain and dysfunction of the shoulder joint activities in different degrees. It can cause pain and inconvenience to the patient＇s life, and finally affecting the patients＇ quality of life. The patients with this disease have self-healing tendencies. Therefore, it is a self-limiting disease, but with longer duration, much pain, and incomplete functional recovery. However, active treatment can shorten the course and promote recovery. We treated 46 cases by acupuncture plus Shi＇s Twelve- word Life Cultivation Skill^[1] and now report it as follows. |
