Cloning and Characterization of a Somatic Embryogenesis Receptor-Like Kinase Gene in Cotton （Gossypium hirsutum）

A novel gene, GhSERK1, was identified in cotton. It encoded a protein belonging to the somatic embryogenesis receptor- like kinase （SERK） family.
