The first systematic study of children’s conceptions about games, rules, punishment, justice, and fairness was conducted by J. Piaget. L. Kohlberg is particularly well-known for his theory of stages of moral development which he popularized through several empirical studies conducted at Harvard’s Center for Moral Education. During the past five decades
