Abstract_FL From the perspective of the important scientific discovery to promote the development of energy science and technology,this paper studies the scientific basis and technological evolution trend of the coal science and technology revolution,and puts forward four revolutionary ideas of coal revolution,such as the integration of coal exploitation and utilization,mine construction and underground space utilization,co-development of coal-based multiple clean energy,clean and low carbon utilization of coal.The roadmaps of coal technology revolution in the whole industry chain in four areas are also put forward,such as the scientific exploitation of near zero ecological damage,the clean and low carbon utilization of near zero emission,the integrated utilization of mine construction and underground space,and deep in-situ fluidized mining.According to the present situation of coal exploitation and utilization in China,the spatial distribution of resources and the changing law of energy structure with time,this paper puts forward the conception of three development stages of coal revolution 3.0,4.0 and 5.0,and gives the strategic objectives of each stage.This paper systematically expounds the important theories and frontier technologies which need to be broken through in different stages to achieve the goal,and forms the technical route and strategic blueprint of the coal revolution in the next 30 years.
