Abstract | Automation of solid municipal waste management affects such subject areas as collection, transportation, sorting, processing, reusing, as well as storage and landfilling of solid municipal waste. This article is devoted to improving the methodology for managing municipal solid waste management processes. A scheme has been formed showing the hierarchy of municipal solid waste management. The statement of the problem of forming an algorithm for managing the sorting, processing, reuse and landfilling of municipal solid waste is made. An algorithm has been developed to minimize the amount of municipal solid waste that must be landfilled. The order of interaction of the operators of the algorithm is considered. Variables and arrays necessary for the operation of the algorithm and their physical meaning are defined. To implement the operation of the algorithm on a computer, it is necessary to preliminarily develop models that allow determining the amount of processing results obtained from various components of MSW, as well as predicting the amount of MSW that should be landfilled. The algorithm can be used to design an information system for municipal solid waste management within the framework of housing and communal services management. |
