Summary:The objective of the research was to evaluate the effect of the interaction water stress × Bacillus spp. ENM51 × M. incognita on growth variables of the plant, enzymes and phosphorus and nitrogen yellow melon cultivate Gold Mine in the greenhouse. Water stress 50% of the pot capacity decreased the rod length, the number of leaves, leaf area index and fresh and dry biomass of plants. The length and fresh biomass and stem dry, total fresh weight and number of leaves and flowers were harmed by parasitism by M. incognita. The strains Bacillus spp. contributed to the reduction of the nematode reproduction and number of galls. The effect of water stress on fresh weight of roots was minimized in plants inoculated with the bacteria. Water stress provided increases in soluble protein levels and ascorbate peroxidase in plants. Changes in soluble protein levels promoted by water stress as well as those promoted by the action of the nematode were inhibited in plants associated with Bacillus spp. The peroxidase content, polyphenol oxidase, catalase, proline, phosphorus and nitrogen have not changed with stress and presence of M. incognita and Bacillus spp.
