Analysis was performed to identify variables associated with advanced-stage and curative-intent surgery. For 3,227 subjects, only grade was associated with advanced stage pancreatic cancer. Age > 80, pancreatic cancer site not specified, and grade were associated with curative-intent surgery. Studies utilizing the Arkansas Cancer Registry are feasible and can identify variables associated with stage and treatment.
