Summary:Experiments on the effects of hypogravity (clinostatting) on growth and formation of monolayer of cultivated endothelium cells of the human umbilical vein demonstrated sensitivity of endothelium to the gravitational stimulus as it responded by a significant reduction of the proliferative activity of cells in culture. The most favorable conditions for cultivating endothelium cells under extended (15-d) hypogravity in vitro were determined.
