Abstract | To effectively obtain the requirements for and their weights in the construction of the pre-hospital emergency system, quantify the determined requirements into key design elements, and thereby effectively improve the efficiency and reasonableness of the emergency procedures as a whole. To propose a new system scheme for the routine “blank period” before the arrival of the pre-hospital personnel so as to save the lives of the rescued in the most efficient manner. Methods: First of all, the user requirements were summarized through in-depth interviews with senior practitioners of emergency rescue. Secondly, based on the Kano model, the priority of the requirements was analyzed qualitatively from the perspectives of user satisfaction and the level of importance of the requirements, on top of which important design requirements were analyzed and quantified with the help of quality function deployment (QFD). Results: According to the functional priority in practice, the sequence of the pre-hospital emergency system procedures was sorted out and determined, i.e. receiving emergency tasks (initiating pre-hospital emergency), waiting for the medical team to arrive (performing pre-hospital emergency treatment), and the arrival of the medical team (emergency tasks completed). The design practice was also completed. Conclusion: By analyzing the actual requirements of the users and building the Kano model and “QFD”, the pre-hospital emergency system was established and implemented based on the design elements, the priority of relative importance, and the principle of interface design. The research provides a theoretical and practical reference for the construction and design practice of systems of the same type. |
