Abstract Transoral robotic surgery (TORS) serves as an innovative minimally invasive approach to resecting tumors of the upper aerodigestive tract, particularly those involving the oropharynx. Tumors involving the tongue base are often amenable to TORS and may be removed en bloc to achieve an oncologically sound resection. This chapter will review a standardized and repeatable technique to safely and reliably resect tumors involving the tongue base and lingual tonsillar tissue.
