Summary: | EnSys Energy & Systems Inc and Navigistics Consulting concluded in a report issued as part of the US Department of State's final environmental impact statement on TransCanada's proposed Keystone XL crude oil pipeline that it is almost impossible to conceive of a situation wherein the anticipated 1.4 million b/d growth in Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin crude could not be shipped to the US, even if Keystone XL is not approved. With respect to permits, Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Regulation and Enforcement said it has added a new feature to its online application system, which allows authorized users to track the status of permit applications. |
