Abstract | The purpose of this study attempts to: (1) determine the use of Truth or Dare media cards assisted by Physics Spinning Wheel on physics learning outcomes (2) determine the use of Truth or Dare cards assisted by Physics Spinning Wheel cards towards learning interest. This research is a quasi experiment with a nonequivalent control group design. The research data was collected at islamic senior high schools in Sleman with a total of 25 subjects in experimental class and 25 students in control class. The research instrument has been through the validation stage by expert judgment namely the lecturer and the practitioner. Physics learning outcomes are measured by pretest and posttest in the form of multiple-choice questions analyzed using AnBuso. Improved physics learning outcomes and students’ learning interest are analyzed using standard gain. The effectiveness between physics learning outcomes and learning interests was analyzed using the Manova Test with 0.016 effect size. The results of this study are: (1) Truth or Dare card media assisted by Physics Spinning Wheel can improve learning outcomes in physics with an increase score of 0.580 in the medium category and (2) Truth or Dare card media assisted by Physics Spinning Wheel can increase participants’ learning interest students with an increase score of 0.150 with the low category. |
