Abstract Eco Enzyme (EE) is a complex organic solution, it is fermented from organic waste, sugar and water and environmentally friendly. The production of EE has a double advantage, can be used to reduce waste and can be applied to water management; therefore, a study was conducted with the aim of knowing the optimum EE concentration in the purification of polluted pond water. This research is an experimental research (true experimental) with qualitative research approach. Water sample was tested with EE concentrations vary from 0, 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25% with three repetitions each. The pH value reaches 6-8.The results of organoleptic observations of the color of the water after 3 days showed that the use of 25% EE caused the color of the water changed from green to yellowish. Moreover it can be concluded that the optimum condition for using EE for purifying polluted pond water is 25% or more. The process of developing research-based mini learning documents in the form of lesson plans and worksheets use 3 stages of development, they are Analysis, Design, and Development it showed that the developed lesson plans and worksheets were very valid. It is stated very valid since the lesson plans and worksheets have met the very valid criteria. This development product will be implemented in a mini-research-based learning on biology subjects for class X high school on environmental change and environmental conservation material with the theme of using Eco Enzyme for purifying polluted pond water.
