Abstract | A analysis solution method for the single pile load-settlement was obtained to give some theoretical references for determining of pile axial load-settlement, ultimate load and pile side shear. Based on the load-transfer method and the hyperbolic transfer function, using a multi-parallel spring groups to simulate the load-transfer of pile soil, a multi-linear load-transfer function model was built to simulate the elastic-plastic constitutive relation of pile soil. Analytical expression for elastic, elastic-plastic and slip-elastic-plastic pile forces and node displacements along the pile length were derived and recursive formula for load, settlement and the stiffness at the pile top were obtained. Influences of sand skin friction on load-displacement curve were analyzed and compared with the results of professional software for pile design.
