청각장애학교 직업교육 운영에 대한 사례 연구

본 연구의 목적은 청각장애학교 직업교과 교육과정의 편성과 운영 실태, 그리고 직업교육 운영과 취업의 연계에 있어서 문제점과 개선 방안을 알아보고자 하였다. 이 연구를 통해 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 청각장애학교 직업교육 프로그램은 개인과 지역사회의 요구에 바탕을 두고 짜여져야 하며, 직업지도는 모든 학생들이 수용 가능하도록 해야 한다. 둘째, 청각장애학생들의 의사소통 능력을 최대한 향상시킬 수 있도록 언어교육이 강화되어야 한다. 셋째, 가정과 학교의 지속적인 인성교육과 직장 예절에 대한 지도가 필요하다. 넷째, 청각장애학생들의 업무수행 능력을 향상시킬 수 있도록 체계적인 기술교육과 충분한 이론교육이 실시되어야 한다. 다섯째, 청각장애학생들이 선호하는 직종이나 취업과 밀접한 관계가 있는 직종의 직업교육을 외부 단체에 의뢰하여 직업교육을 실시하는 것도 대안적인 방법이다. The purpose of this study was to understand the organization and management of the vocational education curriculum, to identify any negative issues in said curriculum, and to improve the connection between management and employment in special schools for students with hearing disabilities. The results of the study are as follows. First, programs for vocational education in special schools for students with hearing disabilities must be based on the needs of people and communities. In addition, vocational guidance must be acceptable for all students. Second, language education must be strengthened for students with hearing disabilities to improve their communicative abilities. Third, continual education about human nature and work place manners in homes and schools is necessary. Fourth, the implementation of systematic job skills education and sufficient theoretical education for students with hearing disabilities is required to improve their workplace abilities and performance. Finally, alternative types of vocational education can be implemented by referring to educational systems from outside agencies which provide the types of occupations preferred by students or occupational categories connected with employment.
