공적실천신학으로 본 한국교회의 현실과 개혁과제

본 연구는 먼저, 공공신학을 각 각 광의와 협의에서 이해하고 양자를 통합하여 공적실천신학적 관점에서 정의한다. 그리고 오늘의 한국교회가 직면한 도전과 위기들을 1) 지구적 도전, 2) 교회내적 위기 상황, 3) 최근 통계로 본 대(對)사회적 이미지 등으로 나누어 살펴보고 공적실천신학적 관점에서 다음과 같은 개혁과제를 제시한다: 1) 성찰하고 회개하는 Reforming Church, 2) 온전한 신앙을 지향하는 신학하는(doing theology) 교회, 3) 대화와 소통의 리더십과 거버넌스를 지향하는 탈성직 교회, 4) 공동선에 헌신하는 공적 공동체로서의 교회, 5) 상생의 생명공 동체를 형성하는 디아코니아 교회 등이다. This article first presents public theology from both broad and narrow perspectives, then defines public theology from the perspective of public practical theology by integrating the two concepts. This article then outlines challenges and crises of the current Korean Church by exploring 1) the global challenges faced by the church, 2) the inner crises of the church, and 3) the social image of Korean churches as revealed in recent statistics. This article aims to present transformational tasks for the Korean Church from the perspective of public practical theology that can construct 1) a reforming and repenting church, 2) a church of “doing theology” that shapes holistic faith, 3) a desacralized church that seeks the conversational and communicative leadership and governance, 4) a public church devoted to the common good of society, and 5) a diakonia church that forms coexisting community of life.
