의료인의 직무스트레스에 영향을 미치는 요인

의료 현장에서 간호사와 의사는 긴밀한 상호 협조를 통해 업무를 수행하는 만큼 간호사와 의사의 직무스트레스의 파악은 중요하며, 의료인의 직무스트레스는 자신에게는 물론 사회 구성원의 건강에도 심각한 영향을 끼칠 수 있음에도 불구하고 병원에서 근무하는 간호사와 의사의 직무스트레스에 관한 연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 의료인 개인의 성격특성은 의사소통 유형, 스트레스 증상, 사회적 지지, 대처 등의 영향으로 직무스트레스의 정도가 달라질 수 있다고 가정하였으며, 간호사와 의사의 직무스트레스에 영향을 주는 요인은 차이가 있었음이 주요한 결과로 나타나 각 영향을 미치는 요인에 대한 간호 중재를 개발하여 의료인의 직무스트레스 관리에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. The purpose of this study was to identify job stress, communication style, personality traits, social skill, and coping and to examine factors influencing job stress in clinical nurses and physicians. Data were collected by questionnaires from 353 health care providers at three general hospital. Data were analyzed using the SPSS/WIN 18.0 version. Job stress showed significant differences according to the sociodemographic characteristics of sex, education, current workplace and shift work. There were significant group differences in dysfunctional communication, agreeableness personality trait between nurses and physicians. Job Stress showed significantly positive correlations to dysfunctional communication, neuroticism personality trait and significantly negative correlations to agreeableness personality trait. The significant factors influencing job stress of the clinical nurses were agreeableness personality trait, and conscientiousness personality trait. The significant factors influencing job stress of the physicians were conscientiousness personality trait. The result of this study suggest that in developing nursing interventions to manage for job stress of clinical nurses and personality traits should be considered. KCI Citation Count: 18
