최대산소 섭취량을 예측하기 위한 셔틀런 검사와 Cooper 12분 달리기의 준거타당도

Abstract 본 연구는 셔틀런 검사와 Cooper 12분 달리기로 추정되는 최대산소섭취량(VO2max)과 직접 측정된 최대산소섭취량과의 타당성을 확인하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 이번 연구는 경기도 K대학 사회교육원 교육생 중 심혈관계 질환, 상해 및 질병이 없는 87명(남자:45명, 여자:42명)을 대상으로 셔틀런 검사와 Cooper 12분 달리기를 측정하여 최대산소 섭취량을 산출하였다. 셔틀런 검사와 Cooper 12분 달리기에 의해 산출된 VO2max와 직접 측정된 VO2max의 검증결과는 성별 간 유의한 차이가 나타났다(F(2, 170)=215.740, p<.001). 남자는 직접 측정된 최대산소섭취량에 비해 셔틀런 검사가 유의하게 과대 추정되었으며, Cooper 12분 달리기는 유의하게 과소 추정되었다(p<.001). 여자는 셔틀런 검사와 Cooper 12분 달리기 모두 직접 측정된 VO2max에 비해 유의하게 과소 추정되었다(p<.001). 직접 측정된 최대산소섭취량과 셔틀런 검사와 Cooper 12분 달리기에 의해 예측된 결과의 LoA결과는 남자에서 2.62±1.31%와 7.14±4.20%로 각각 나타났다. 여자는 2.37±4.25%와 22.79±4.91%결과를 각각 나타내었다. 결론적으로, 본 연구는 20m 셔틀런 결과에서 systemic error 뿐만 아니라 random error도 같이 존재한다는 것을 발견할 수 있었다. The purpose of this study was to examine the validity of VO2max estimated by 20m shuttle run and Cooper’s 12min run test and direct VO2max measurement. A systemic and random error of 20m shuttle run test and Cooper’s 12min run were objectively tested. Healthy 87 participants (45 men, 42 women) without cardiovascular disease, present injury, and diseases were recruited for this study. All participants completed 20m shuttle run and Cooper’s 12min run test for VO2max measurement. There was a significant gender difference in VO2max estimation of 20m shuttle run and Cooper’s 12min run test and direct measurement (F(2, 170)=215.740, p<0.0001). In men, VO2max estimation of 20m shuttle run was significantly overestimated than direct VO2max estimation and Cooper’s 12min run test was significantly underestimated than direct VO2max estimation(p<0.0001). In women, VO2max estimation of 20m shuttle run and Cooper’s 12min run test were significantly underestimated than direct VO2max estimation(p<0.0001). LoA results from direct VO2max measurement and VO2max estimated by 20m shuttle run and Cooper’s 12min run test were 2.62±1.31% and 7.14±4.20% in men, respectively. In women, those values were 2.37±4.25% and 22.79±4.91%, respectively. In conclusion, this study suggested that both a systemic and random error were existed in 20m shuttle run test.
