Ever since 1978, when China adopted opening policy, Foreign Direct Investment(FDI) has played an important role in the process of economic development. The sustained development of Taiwan's investment in China is the necessary requirement for the Taiwan to develop its economy of modern handicraft industry and the certain trend toward economic integration. The location, size, industry and management in which Taiwan invests in China have a series of characteristics. meanwhile, the investors are confronting various difficulties and challenges. Understanding these characteristics are bound to promote the further economic integration between China and Taiwan and the formation of Chinese economic circle. KCI Citation Count: 4
