망막분지정맥폐쇄에서 유두함몰비, 안압, 폐쇄부위에 관한 분석

목적: 망막분지정맥폐쇄에서 유두함몰비, 안압, 폐쇄부위의 연관성을 분석하고자 하였다. 대상과 방법: 망막분지정맥폐쇄로 진단된 62안을 대상으로 전향적인 연구를 시행하였다. 모든 환자에서 안저사진, 형광안저혈관조영, 골드만안압계를 이용한 안압측정, 빛간섭단층촬영을 시행하였다. 유두함몰비, 안압, 폐쇄부위간의 연관성을 분석하였다. 결과: 폐쇄부위는 안압 및 유두함몰비와 각각 연관성이 있었으나(p<0.001, Pearson`s correlation analysis), 안압과 유두함몰비는 서로 연관성이 없었다(p=0.092, Pearson`s correlation analysis). 결론: 망막분지정맥폐쇄에서 폐쇄부위가 시신경유두에 근접해 있을 경우 안압이 높고, 유두함몰비가 증가되어 있었다. 정맥폐쇄부위가 시신경유두에 근접해 있는 망막분지정맥폐쇄의 경우 녹내장에 대한 검사가 필요할 것으로 생각된다. <한안지 49(7):1094-1100, 2008> Purpose: To investigate correlations among the cup-to-disc ratio (CDR), intraocular pressure (IOP), and the occlusion site in branch retinal vein occlusion (BRVO). Methods: This prospective study involved 62 eyes with a diagnosis of BRVO. Fundus photography, fluorescein angiography, Goldmann applanation tonometry, and optical coherence tomography were performed. Correlations among CDR, IOP, and the occlusion site were analyzed. Results: A negative correlation was found between the occlusion site and IOP (p<0.001, Pearson`s correlation analysis) and between the occlusion site and CDR (p<0.001, Pearson`s correlation analysis). However, the correlation between IOP and CDR was poor (p=0.092, Pearson`s correlation analysis). Conclusions: BRVOs with an occlusion site near the optic disc are associated with raised IOP and CDR values. This study suggests that the occurrence of BRVO with an occlusion site near the optic disc indicates that the patient should be evaluated for glaucoma. J Korean Ophthalmol Soc 49(7):1094-1100, 2008
