산학협력 기반 사회문제해결 수업 참여 경험에 관한 연구 - 포스코 지속가능경영과 ESG 수업을 중심으로

이 연구는 서울여자대학교 교양교과 ‘소셜이노베이션 방법론’ 수업과 포스코그룹의 ‘지속가능경영과 ESG’ 교과목 운영 사업을 연계한 산학협력 기반 사회문제해결 프로젝트 수업의 사례를 중심으로 학생들의 참여 경험을 조사하였다. 수업은 2024학년도 1학기에 운영되었으며, 총 17명의 수강생이 포스코그룹사 엔투비와 협력하여 해당 기업의 ESG 과제 ‘미래세대 순환자원 관심 제고를 위한 교육 콘텐츠 기획’ 프로젝트를 수행하였다. 학생들은 수업을 통해 사회혁신 주체로서 기업의 역할, ESG, 순환자원, 디자인씽킹 방법론에 대해 학습하고 이를 실제 과제에 적용하였다. 이 연구는 학생들이 작성한 프로젝트 여정맵과 성찰 에세이를 주제분석법을 활용하여 분석하였으며, 기업의 실제 과제를 다루는 산학협력 수업의 특성에서 비롯된 학생들의 경험에 중점을 두었다. 분석 결과, 학생들의 주요 경험은 ‘다양한 이해관계자와의 협업’, ‘피드백과 특강을 통한 전문성 향상과 관점의 변화’, ‘현장에서 적용 가능한 실무 능력 향상’, ‘사업화를 고려한 실효성 있는 아이디어 제안’으로 범주화되었다. 이 연구는 교양교과 수업에서 산학협력 프로그램이 융합적 사고와 전문성, 실무 능력을 배양하는 효과적인 교육모델이 될 수 있음을 보여준다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 향후 산학협력 프로그램이 대학과 기업, 사회에 미치는 교육적⋅사회적⋅경제적 영향을 종합적으로 연구할 필요성을 제안한다. This study investigates the experiences of students participating in a university-industry collaboration project conducted within the liberal arts course ‘Social Innovation Methodology’ at Seoul Women’s University, in conjunction with the POSCO Group’s ‘Sustainability Management and ESG’ program. The course, offered during the first semester of 2024, involved 17 undergraduate students collaborating with POSCO Group’s subsidiary, eNtoB, to address the company’s ESG initiative, ‘Designing Educational Content to Promote Awareness of Circular Resources for Future Generations’. Through this course, students explored topics such as the role of corporations as agents of social innovation, ESG principles, circular resources, and design thinking methodologies, applying these concepts to a real-world project. This study employs thematic analysis of students’ project journey maps and reflection essays submitted by the students, focusing on their experiences within the context of university-industry collaboration. The findings highlight the unique characteristics of this pedagogical approach, particularly those stemming from working on real-world corporate tasks. Four key themes emerged from the analysis: ‘collaboration with diverse stakeholders’, ‘enhanced expertise and perspective shifts through feedback and lectures’, ‘practical skill development applicable to real-world settings’, and ‘proposing actionable ideas with consideration of commercialization’. This study demonstrates that university-industry collaboration programs within liberal arts courses can serve as effective educational models for fostering interdisciplinary thinking, professional expertise, and practical skills. Based on these findings, the study emphasizes the need for future research to comprehensively examine the educational, social, and economic impacts of such programs on universities, corporations, and society.
